Managing Partner
Sayan Atthaworadej is the founder and Managing Partner of Atthaworadej & Associates. With more than 30 years of litigation experience, he is recognized for representing multinational corporations, international insurers, leading hospitality groups, airlines, financial institutions, and major employers in complex labour, commercial, insurance, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters in Thailand.
His practice focuses on employment and labour litigation, labour union disputes, executive termination, commercial litigation, insurance and reinsurance disputes, arbitration, and maritime matters. He is particularly known for handling high-stakes labour disputes and strategically sensitive employment matters involving senior executives, labour unions, and large-scale workforce issues.
Prior to establishing Atthaworadej & Associates in 2012, Sayan was a Local Partner at Baker & McKenzie, where he represented international and domestic clients in a broad range of civil and criminal disputes. Earlier in his career, he practiced with a leading Thai law firm specializing in maritime and insurance disputes, representing shipping companies, insurers, and P&I Clubs before the Thai courts.
Sayan also served as a Legal Officer at the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare after completing his LL.M. studies in the United Kingdom under a Thai government scholarship. He is also a licensed labour advisor authorized to participate in negotiations concerning labour demands, labour disputes, and collective bargaining matters.
Senior Associate
Tanach Kanjanasiri is a Senior Associate at Atthaworadej & Associates with extensive experience in employment and labour law, commercial disputes, insurance litigation, fraud investigations, bankruptcy and restructuring, and real estate matters.
Tanach obtained his LL.B. (Second Class Honors) from Thammasat University in 2009 and was admitted as a Barrister-at-Law by the Thai Bar Association in 2010. He later earned his LL.M. in International Commercial Law with Merit from Durham University, England.
Prior to joining Atthaworadej & Associates in 2015, Tanach worked with leading international law firms, including DLA Piper and Baker McKenzie, where he advised and represented domestic and multinational clients in a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
With more than a decade of legal practice, Tanach has represented major corporations across various industries, particularly in employment disputes, commercial litigation, insurance claims, internal investigations, regulatory matters, and real estate-related disputes.

Phatsara Tepboon is an Associate at Atthaworadej & Associates with extensive experience in employment and labour law, HR advisory, and dispute resolution.
Before entering the legal profession, Phatsara built a strong career in human resources management, working with large organizations across various industries from 2002. Throughout her HR career, she handled a broad range of employment and workplace matters, including employee relations, disciplinary action, workforce management, and labour disputes.
Her HR background enables her to understand workplace issues from both legal and operational perspectives and to provide commercially practical, business-oriented legal support.
Since joining the firm in 2015, Phatsara has advised domestic and international clients on a wide range of employment and labour law matters. She regularly assists clients in managing workplace disputes, mitigating employment-related risks, and addressing complex labour issues.
In addition to advisory work, Phatsara has experience in labour and commercial litigation, family and probate matters, and judgment enforcement proceedings. Her attention to detail, practical judgment, and hands-on HR experience contribute significantly to the firm’s employment and litigation practice.
